Don't miss the excitement, fun and adrenaline rush of this Olympic-caliber event, a showcase combining athleticism and grace. You'll marvel at the best horses and riders in the country soaring their way to $30,000 in the Roy A. Edwards, Jr. Memorial Grand Prix.
Walk through the stalls and select your favorite horses, pick up a daily schedule and watch horses compete. Then come to the $30,000 Roy A. Edwards Grand Prix and hold your breath as your favorites enter the ring and navigate each and every obstacle.
Play the part of a horse judge and see if you can determine the best horse in each competition. Marvel at the combined abilities of horse and rider as they work together to achieve fluid motion and exact precision. Victory requires strength, and stamina with flawless execution.
The Hunter - The hunter can be of any age or breed but are divided by the number of years shown in the Hunter Division. Horses aren't judged on time but on conformation and their ability to maneuver the course. As a horses' ability and experience increases so does the difficulty of the course.
The Jumper - A jumper can be of any breed and is judged on it's performance over jumps and speed in which it completes the course. The horse with the fastest, cleanest round (fewest rails knocked down, or faults) is the winner. |
