High School students are invited to attend the 6th annual American Royal Youth Leadership Day. Each person can contribute to a team with their own set of unique personality traits. Through self-assessment and reflection, students can learn how to use their strengths to accomplish personal and team goals.
Attendees will identify their strengths and how they can be applied in a team setting by creating an educational program to take back to their community to advocate on behalf of the agriculture industry. Chapters or clubs have the opportunity to win up to $1,000 in grants to use for agriculture advocacy programs in their community.
This conference brings high school students from across the Midwest Region to the American Royal Complex for an entire day of professional development. The conference takes place from 10:00am - 5:30pm with agriculture career networking and the PRCA Rodeo beginning at 7:30pm.
Youth Leadership Day serves to educate students interested in agriculture leadership, career paths, and advocacy within the industry.
Registration is $25 per student which includes conference materials, lunch, pizza, and admission to the PRCA Rodeo that evening. Register online.
