Cull and Core Dominate the AOB/Commercial Junior Heifer Show

KANSAS CITY—The Junior AOB/Commercial Heifer Show was held on Oct. 29 in Hale Arena at the American Royal. The show consisted of 43 head of females and was judged by Robert Alden of Hamilton, Mo.

The Grand Champion AOB Heifer went to Kimberlee Cull of Oakland, Neb., with Monique, a March 20, 2010 female. She was previously selected as the Champion Senior Heifer. The Reserve Grand Champion Female was MTMC Morgan, born on April 8, 2010, exhibited by Kennedy Core of Pleasantville, Iowa. Morgan was previously selected as Champion Junior Heifer.

ECAX Danica 1126Y, a March 20, 2011, owned by Courtney Emberson of Delaware, Okla., was named Champion Junior Heifer Calf. Miranda Raithel of Falls City, Neb., exhibited the Reserve Champion Junior Heifer Calf, EMR SMD Tigress 13Y, born on Jan. 10, 2011.

Tanner Walden of Tonganoxie, Kan., owned the Champion Senior Heifer Calf, TWC Bam Bam 0101X. His heifer was born on Oct. 15, 2010. PCC Monopoly 509, a Sept. 1, 2010, owned by Garrett Buchholz of Bardwell, Texas, was named the Reserve Champion Senior Heifer Calf.

The Reserve Champion Junior Heifer was Princess 206X, a May 12, 2010, shown by Kiley Elder of Pella, Iowa.

Claiming the Reserve Senior Champion Heifer was MAAS Wish, born on March 30, 2010, and exhibited by Collin Barker of Kearney, Mo.
