Exhibitors gather in Kansas City for American Royal Classic Boer Goat Show

 

KANSAS CITY – Open exhibitors from six states competed for the top honors at the 2011 American Royal Classic Boer Goat Show on Oct. 26. Dr. Brian Faris of Westmoreland, Kan., judged this year’s entries.

 

Percentage Does Division:

 

The Overall Grand Champion was Ankny Ankony Miss Pride Z315, exhibited by Newton Farms of Lakeville, Ind. This animal first received the honor of Junior Division Champion. CLCC One High Class Love, exhibited by Lori Copeland of Kingsdown, Kan., was the overall Reserve Champion and the Junior Division Reserve Champion.

 

The Yearling Division Champion was awarded to Outlaw’s Red Hot Hoochie Momma, owned by Lori Copeland. Reserve Champion Yearling Division Champion was SNSD Blingalicious, exhibited by Sheila Smith of Meadville, Mo.

 

Fullblood/Purebred Does Division:

 

In the Fullblood/Purebred competition, Red’s Standing Ovation, owned by Phillip, Anita, and Levi Messer of Francesville, Ind., received the Overall Champion Doe title. In addition, this animal was also named the Junior Champion.  Overall Reserve Champion and Junior Division Reserve Champion Doe was JBI Flirt Factor, owned by Jerry Brown Inc., of Skidmore, Mo.

 

Kenz All Fired Up, exhibited by Sheila Smith, was the Yearling Division Champion. The Yearling Division Reserve Champion was DFK Blazing Gunpowder, shown by Sarah Brend of Bucyrus, Kan.

 

Maurice and Kim Erwin of Davis City, Iowa, exhibited the Senior Division Fullblood/Purebred Champion, Hobby SK Eggs Manibu X332. The Reserve Senior Champion was TH Y9013, owned by Newton Farms of Lakeville, Ind.

 

Classic Boer Goat Show Buck Division

 

The Overall Grand Champion Fullblood/Purebred Buck was AJBG Agrew Royal Rumble shown by Lori Copeland of Kingsdown, Kan. This animal was also named the Junior Division Champion. Tracy Diefenbach of Drexel, Mo., exhibited W Eggs A327, the Overall Reserve Champion Fullblood/Purebred Buck and the Junior Division Reserve Champion.

 

Yearling Division Champion was awarded to REIS Golgotha, owned by Phillip, Anita and Levi Messer. Fern Hollow Farm Z9056, was the Reserve Yearling Division Champion shown by Deanna Tice of Kearney, Mo.
