Junior swine exhibitors from all over the country gathered in Kansas City, Mo., to compete for top honors in the American Royal Junior Swine Showmanship Contest held on Sat., Oct. 22. Everett Forkner of Richards, Mo., evaluated the showmen and selected Tyler Waitman of Purcell, Okla., as Champion Swine Showman. The Reserve Champion Swine Showman was Lexi Marek of Riverside, Iowa.

 

Division I Showmanship (9-12 years of age)

Champion: Maddie Fugate of Mahomet, Ill.

Reserve Champion: Dawson Wuthnow of Manchester, Kan.

Division II Showmanship (13-16 years of age)

Champion: Tyler Waitman of Purcell, Okla.

Reserve Champion: Lexi Marek of Riverside, Iowa

Division III Showmanship (17-20 years of age)

Champion: Wyat Gibson of Ridgeway, Mo.

Reserve Champion: Austin Kindschi of Orlando, Okla.
