Salers Showcased on the Big Stage

The Salers were showcased in the Hale Arena on the first Saturday of the 2015 American Royal. Shawn Varner of Kearney, Missouri, judged the show and commended the exhibitors on an impressive line-up of heifers and bulls.
Taylor Goering of McPherson, Kansas, had the honor of exhibiting the Senior Champion Heifer and Danielle Henning of Everst, Kansas, was named Reserve Senior Champion Heifer.
Goering of Kansas, also exhibited the Grand Champion Salers Female, while Marka Howard of Jamestown, Tennessee took home the title of Reserve Champion Salers Female.
The bull show continued the stout competition following the heifers. Jo C. G. Colmore of Rising Fawn, Georgia, claimed the Senior Champion Bull title and Reserve Senior Champion Bull was shown by Griffith Farm and Ranch of Clayton, Kansas.
Grand Champion Bull was grasped by Griffith Farm and Ranch, Kansas. White Oak Salers, Fremont, Iowa, and Silver Spur Salers, Maryville, Missouri, received Reserve Grand Champion Bull.
Premier Breeder was awarded to Silver Spur Salers, Maryville, Missouri, and Premier Exhibitor was given to T Bone Cattle Company of Osceola, Iowa.
