Curtin wins AOB/Commercial Junior Heifer Show

Each year, the American Royal offers an opportunity for junior exhibitors to show in the AOB/Commercial Heifer Show allowing them to compete in the junior showmanship contest and vie for the Supreme Junior Champion Female title.

Judge Matt Claeys from West Lafayette, Indiana, evaluated the set of heifer entered in the AOB/Commercial Heifer Show. Claeys started his day by selecting the Junior Calf Champion, Kendon McAlister from Green Forest, Arkansas, with his heifer WLK Whitley. His Reserve Junior Calf Champion was WDZ Dair 626 exhibited by Sydney Zehnder of Stanchfield, Minnesota. Brooklyn Curtin from Oxford, Iowa, showing her heifer named Madison was named the Champion Junior Heifer and reserve was Lillie Skiles from Dalhart, Texas, with her heifer BMW MS ACE 422C. The Champion Senior Heifer was exhibited by Kathy Lehman of Shelby, Ohio, with her heifer GARW Miss I80 234C. Reserve Senior Heifer was UDE Gossip Girl 9C exhibited by Vada Vickland of Longmont, Colorado.

Coming out on top today was the two Junior Heifer Division winners, Curtin and Skiles. Congratulations to all of the exhibitors in the AOB/ Commercial Heifer show.
