Stiff Competition in the Junior Market Goat Show

According to show officials, 2016 entry numbers were up more than 180 goats as compared to last year. In the first division, Monika Wallen of Indiana took home the Champion Division I banner and reserve went to Ava Shroyer.

It was a brother-sister act in division two where the champion, reserve and third place goats were exhibited by siblings. Tara and Dylan Hummel were named Champion and Reserve Division II Market Goat, respectively.

In the third and final division of the day, Erin Johnson of California, left the ring with Champion Division III Market Goat. Blake Quiggins of Indiana, earned Reserve Division III honors.

Rounding out the 2016 show, Tara Hummel earned the Grand Champion Market Goat title and Monika Wallen was named Reserve Champion Market Goat.
