MANY THANKS TO OUR FANTASTIC VOLUNTEERS

On Tuesday, April 19, nearly 175 American Royal volunteers, Governors and staff members gathered for a good, old-fashioned State Fair-themed appreciation party. Revelers roamed the Grand Hall, enjoying corn dogs, lemonade, sliders, Kansas “Sunflower Salad” provided by Bichelmeyer Meats, pretzel bites, Ma and Pa Bichelmeyer’s famous sheet cake and perhaps a few beer from our event sponsor Boulevard Brewing.
But the highlight of the night was when we honored the real heroes of the event: our volunteers. After remarks from American Royal President & CEO Lynn Parman and Chairman of the Board of Directors Angie Stanland, Fox-4 Morning Anchorman Mark Alford heralded the night’s big winners:
