Youth show off their skills in Junior Heifer Showmanship

KANSAS CITY – Spectators gathered on Oct. 29 to watch youth from across the United States compete in Junior Heifer Showmanship. Josh Worthington of Dadeville, Mo., evaluated the participants.

The Overall Champion Showman was 17-year-old Jacob Heimsoth of Lathrop, Mo. Heimsoth was first named the Division III Champion. Jamie Limes of Risingsun, Ohio, received the Overall Reserve Champion Showman and Division III Reserve Champion titles.

The Division I Champion Showman was Cale Hinrichson, 12,  of Westmoreland, Kan. Tanner Walden, 11, of Tonganoxie, Kan., was the Division I Reserve Champion.

Allee Louise Maronde, 13, of York, Neb., won the Division II Champion honors. Division II Reserve Champion recognition went to Katlyn Tunstill, age 16, of Fayetteville, Ark.
