Elizabeth Jones of Williamsburg, Iowa, led the Grand Champion Market Steer at the American Royal on Oct. 22.

The Reserve Grand Market Steer at the American Royal was exhibited by Sarah Ayer of Calhoun, Ky.

Tyrone Hullinger of Harris, Mo., evaluated the 74 market steer entries in the American Royal Market Steer Show.

Elizabeth Jones of Williamsburg, Iowa, exhibited the Grand Champion Market Steer. The 1,327-pound animal was first named Champion Division II Steer. Reserve Grand Champion Market Steer honors went to Sarah Ayer of Calhoun, Ky. Sarah’s 1,294-pound steer was named Champion Division I Steer earlier in the day.

In Division I, Madison Clark of Covington, Ohio, exhibited the reserve champion steer, with her 1,294-pound entry.

Gracie Russell of Prescott, Iowa, exhibited the Reserve Champion Division II Steer, who weighed in at 1,352-pounds.

The Champion Division III Champion Steer, weighing 1,391 pounds was led by Kelli Retallick of Glen Haven, Wis. James Gradert of Sibley, Iowa, showed the reserve steer in the same division. His steer weighed 1,404 pounds.
