Come be a judge to determine the best “Party of the Year” at the 2022 World Series of Barbecue.
The World Series of Barbecue is not only the biggest BBQ Contest in the world, on Friday, it is the biggest and best party in Kansas City. Of the 500+ teams at the BBQ, teams have the option to compete to be named the best “Party of the Year” in the corporate and individually funded categories.
This opportunity would allow you to visit parties and cast your vote for this top honor.
Party of the Year Judging Ticket Specifics:

- Friday, September 30, 2022 from 7:30pm – 10:00pm (check in at 7:00pm)
- Ticket price $95-$100 each. Includes entry into the event. Does not include parking.
- Limited Tickets – this VIP Experience will sell out!
- Must be 21 or older to participate
- You will be paired with about 15-20 other individuals in your Party of the Year Judging Group
- Grouping of individuals will happen on site – if you would like to be grouped with specific people, please arrive together
- Each group will be escorted to 3 team spaces
- At each team space, you will be their VIP guest for about 20 minutes
- As a Party of the Year Judge, you will judge these team spaces on atmosphere, hospitably and overall “Best Party”
- Teams may provide you food and beverage but this is not required by teams and not guaranteed with the cost of the ticket
- This is a walking judging event only – no golf carts/scooters/etc will be provided or allowed

Royal Tours
The American Royal World Series of Barbecue brings together 500+ BBQ Teams, the top and most famous Pitmasters and best competitors. These BBQers are here for one thing – to be named the Grand Champion at the most elite and biggest contest in the world.
Throughout the weekend, many Pitmasters want to invite YOU into their team space to provide tips, tricks and information about competition BBQ.
The Royal Tour VIP Experience provides a behind the scenes of competition BBQ. With this ticket, you will get the opportunity to visit and learn from 3-4 BBQ teams/pitmasters. This once in a lifetime experience will provide you one-on-one discussions with the best BBQers in the world, tips and the opportunity to sample some of the best barbecue in the world.
Royal Tour Ticket Specifics:
- Available on Friday night or Saturday
- Ticket price $40-$45 each. Includes entry into the event. Does not include parking.
- Limited Tickets – this VIP Experience will sell out!
- You will be paired with about 10-15 other individuals in your Royal Tour Group
- Grouping of individuals will happen on site – if you would like to be grouped with specific people, please arrive together
- Each group will be escorted to 3 team spaces (Pit Stop)
- Each Team Stop/Pit Stop will last about 15 minutes. The total tour time is about 70 minutes.
- Teams may provide you food and beverage but this is not required by teams and not guaranteed with the cost of the ticket
- This is a walking judging event only – no golf carts/scooters/etc will be provided or allowed
