The American Royal Host the National Medal of Excellence Limousin & Lim-Flex Shows

KANSAS CITY — Dr. Scott Schaake of Manhattan, Kan., sorted through the 56 head of Limousin and Lim-Flex cattle exhibited in the Level I National Medal of Excellence Limousin and Lim-Flex Shows Thursday, Oct. 27.

The 2011 National Medal of Excellence Grand Champion Limousin Female went to MAGS Xplanation shown by Magness Land and Cattle of Platteville, Colo. She was also selected as the Division V Champion and was born March 28, 2010. Reserve Grand Champion Limousin Female honors went to Wies Limousin Ranch of Wellsville, Mo. and Edwards Land and Cattle Co. of Beulaville, N.C., with WLR Tainted Love 746X, an April 5, 2010, heifer. She was also the Division IV Champion.

The Grand Champion Lim-Flex Female was awarded to MAGS Xtra Unique, born May 9, 2010, and owned by Magness Land and Cattle of Platteville, Colo, and was also selected as the Division IV Champion. Abby Gayle Hendrickson of Adair, Okla. exhibited the Reserve Grand Champion Lim-Flex Female MAGS Xeromas, born Feb. 17, 2010. This female was also selected as the Division V Champion.

The Grand Champion Limousin bull banner went to KYLD Vegas 910W, a March 6, 2009, bull owned by Quail Ridge Limousin of Calhoun, Ky., and Kyle Delaplaine of Gettysburg, Pa. He was also the Division VI Champion. The Reserve Grand Champion Bull and Division V Champion was MJ Xtravaganza 1X, born Jan. 5, 2010, and shown by Mark Blake of Earl Park, Ind.

Selected at the Grand Champion Lim-Flex Bull was MAGS Xyloid, born March 7, 2010, and exhibited by Magness Land and Cattle. He was also the Division V Champion. The Reserve Grand Champion Lim-Flex Bull banner went to Etherton Farms of Dawson, Ill., with BC Bad Romance 612X, born June 7, 2010, was also the Division III Champion.

Limousin Female Show Results

Division I Champion was WLR True Religion exhibited by Wies Limousin Ranch and Magness Land and Cattle. She is an April 8, 2011. Division I Reserve Champion was awarded to SEEE Yolanda, a March 7, 2011, shown by Enright Farms of Renfrew, Ontario, Canada.

Division II Limousin Female was awarded to AUTO Peyton 206Y, a Jan. 12, 2011, exhibited by Pinegar Limousin of Springfield, Mo.

MAGS Xmas Songs exhibited by Magness Land and Cattle claimed Division III honors. She was born Sept. 13, 2010. ELCX Twilight 114X, born Nov. 11, 2010, owned by Wies Limousin and Edwards Land and Cattle Co. claimed Division III Reserve honors.

Selected as the Division IV Reserve female was LH Xclusively Urs 059X shown by Colt Cunningham of Rose, Okla. Heifer was born on April 2, 2010.

Victoria Albrecht of Arlington, S.D., exhibited the Division V Reserve female with ROMN XOXO 18X, born on March 13, 2010.

Division VI Champion was MAGS Xtra Sensual, born Jan. 16, 2010, and exhibited by Magness Land and Cattle.

Lim-Flex Female Show Results

Division I honors go to MAGS Yahve, born March 29, 2011, owned by Magness Land and Cattle. Reserve in Division I was NHCA Yours Truly 316Y, a March 8, 2011 female owned by Abele Cattle Co. of El Dorado Springs, Mo., and Massey Limousin of London, Ky.

DKBM Isabel 1414Y, born Feb. 21, 2011, claimed the Division II Champion title for Klay Beisley of Nevada, Mo. Reserve in that division went to Magness Land and Cattle with MAGS Yoo Hoo, born Feb. 18, 2011.

Linden Faith Linthicum of Welch, Okla., claimed the Division III title with JCL Undying Love 013X, this female was born Sept. 29, 2010. The Division III Reserve Champion female was MAGS Xtreme Colors, born Oct. 2, 2010, and shown by Cassidy Woodard of Calhan, Colo.

Claiming the Division IV Reserve Champion title was MAGS Xcellent Singer, born April 11, 2010, exhibited by Magness Land and Cattle and Wies Limousin Ranch.

The Division V Reserve Champion was Magness Land and Cattle and Jepson Limousin of Franklin, Ky., with MAGS Xosa, a March 5, 2010 female.

Division VI Champion female was MAGS Wild Ginger, born Oct. 2, 2009, owned by Magness Land and Cattle and Tubmill Creek Farms of New Florence, Pa. Reserve in Division VI was CHR What’s Happenin 121W, a Sept. 7, 2009, female shown by Colt Cunningham of Rose, Okla.

Limousin Bull Show Results

Division I Champion Bull was MJ Youtube, born Feb. 6, 2011, exhibited by Mark Blake.

Claiming Division II honors was Abby Lynn Crow of Holt, Mo. with her Jan. 22, 2011 bull calf, Red Dirt Laredo 503Y.

TMCK Westmoreland 889X, born Oct. 2, 2010, exhibited by Tubmill Creek Farms of New Florence, Pa., was selected as the Division III Champion. Division III Reserve Champion was MAGS Xmas Wreath, an Oct. 13, 2010, bull shown by Magness Land and Cattle.

Selected as Division IV Champion was TMCK Durham Wheat 6030X, born March 21, 2010, and shown by Tubmill Creek Farms and Elders Branch Farm of Three Springs, Pa.

Lim-Flex Bull Show Results

MAGS Y-Axis, born March 29, 2011, was selected as Division I Champion bull for Magness Land and Cattle. Taking Division I Reserve Champion honors was MJ Yacht Club 17Y, a March 22, 2011, calf exhibited by Mark Blake of Earl Park, Ind.

Magness Land and Cattle exhibited the Division II Lim-Flex bull, MAGS Xrays, born Oct. 4, 2010.

Division IV Champion went to TW Fire N’ Ice, an April 20, 2010, bull owned by Edwards Land and Cattle Co. of Beulaville, N.C., JCL Land and Cattle of Welch, Okla,, and Twin Willow Farms of Springfield, Mo.

The Division V Reserve Champion was EF Xcessive Force, born March 18, 2010, exhibited by Etherton Farms and Thomas & Son Farms of Boonsboro, Md.
