Miniature Hereford results from the 2011 American Royal

KANSAS CITY – Dr. Clint Rusk of Brookings, S.D., evaluated the 21 entries in the American Royal Miniature Hereford Show on Sunday, Oct. 23.

SS Miss Lady was named Grand Champion Miniature Hereford Female at the 2011 American Royal.

Reserve Grand Champion Female went to KAP Viking’s 4L Adair.

Judy and Steve Splitt of North Platte, Neb., exhibited the Grand Champion Miniature Hereford Female, SS Miss Lady. She was first selected as the Champion Junior Heifer Calf. KAP Viking’s 4L Adair, was the Reserve Grand Champion Miniature Hereford Female after first winning Champion Senior Heifer Calf honors. She was shown by Harlo Cattle Company and Harmon Show Cattle of Tekamah, Neb.

Judy and Steve Splitt of North Platte, Neb., led SS Mr Seth to be Grand Champion Miniature Hereford Bull.

The Reserve Grand Champion Miniature Hereford Bull, JW’s Roll the Dice, was exhibited by J Bar W Cattle Co., of Elizabeth, Colo.

In the bull show, SS Mr Seth took home the Grand Champion Miniature Hereford Bull award. He was shown by Judy and Steve Splitt of North Platte, Neb., and was named Champion Junior Bull earlier in the day. The Reserve Grand Champion Miniature Hereford Bull, JW’s Roll the Dice, was exhibited by J Bar W Cattle Co., of Elizabeth, Colo. Roll the Dice first won Reserve Champion Junior Bull.

In the steer show, the Champion Miniature Hereford Prospect Steer was shown by Stephen McIntyre of Elbert, Colo. The Champion Miniature Hereford Market Steer was exhibited by Kayden Offolter of Yukon, Okla.
