Exhibitors from six states gathered in Kansas City, Mo., to compete for top honors in the American Royal Salers Show held on Fri., Oct. 21. Kevin Jensen of Courtland, Kan., sorted the 52 entries in the Purebred and Optimizer divisions.

Breanna Duncan of Marlow, Okla., exhibited the Grand Champion Female, 3D MS FIONA. Her animal was first named winner of the Junior Heifer division. The Reserve Grand Champion Female, GGT P BK SUNRISE 174X, was exhibited by Ashley Salyers of Billings, Mo., and was first named Senior Champion Heifer.

Rosemary Werth of Quinter, Kan., exhibited the Grand Champion Optimizer Female, GGT FERGIE 56Y. GGT ENCHANTED 26X, shown by Kylie Werth of Quinter, Kan., was named Reserve Grand Champion Optimizer Female.

The Grand Champion Bull, GGT P BK ENCLAVE 279X, exhibited by Wright Cattle Company and GG&T Land & Cattle Company of Quinter, Kan., was first named Junior Champion Bull. LLMB 175W, exhibited by L&B Salers of Hiawatha, Kan., was the Reserve Grand Champion Bull, and won the Senior Bull division.

Kenny Crawford of Camp Ark., exhibited the Grand Champion Optimizer Bull, THATS YES MAN 99Y.
